Style isn't earned. It's already yours.
You deserve to feel proud of who you are.
Styled to Filth is a safe, affirming, and judgment-free space for people who have never felt represented by traditional fashion. I strongly believe that style is for every body, every gender expression, and every stage of life. My goal is to help you discover what feels authentic to you so that you can build confidence through self-expression.
"If you want to look like the best, most beautiful, most authentic version of yourself for a photo shoot, wedding, event, or just every day life, you NEED Aja. I’m a wedding planner and business owner, and I’ve had the pleasure of working with Aja multiple times. She’s styled models for photo shoots; couples looking for unique, gender-affirming wedding attire; and she’s styled me for my brand photos. Every project was completely different, with wildly different aesthetics, and she nailed it every time. She’s a creative visionary with a unique gift for translating a person’s identity into affirming & empowering fashion. I can’t recommend her enough!"

Before your event or creative project, we'll do a final fitting to make sure everything works, fits comfortably, and feels like you. I'll steam and prepare your final look and you'll leave with everything you need to feel your best at your event or shoot.
We'll meet virtually to review your outfit options together. This is a collaborative process, so we'll talk through what you love, what you don't, and make any adjustments needed. The remaining balance is due at this stage before I send you a shoppable outfit proposal.
Once you're booked, you'll share your project mood board with me or we'll create one together and we'll talk more in-depth about your style, preferences, and needs. Then I'll do the research, sourcing, and outfit building for you, pulling together options that align with your vision, body, lifestyle, and budget.
Fill out my contact form and schedule a free 15-minute consultation. We'll talk about your style goals, the event or occasion you're dressing for, and make sure we're a good fit to work together. Then, I'll send you a contract. Upon contract signing, 50% of the styling fee is due.
Did you know???
The styling process with me is less about a "look" and more about finally recognizing yourself in front of the camera. Whether it's your brand photoshoot, an editorial concept, or a creative project that's been living in your head for months, we'll build a visual world that's authentic, intentional, and completely yours.
Together, we'll create styling that works for your actual brand and your actual vision, not some Pinterest moodboard or whatever everyone else in your industry is doing. Because I believe your visuals should feel like an extension of you rather than a costume you're renting for the day.

How do I know which services to inquire about?
Yes! I am based in Colorado but work with clients worldwide. The first 60 miles of travel (30 miles each direction from Arvada, CO) are included with your styling package. Additional travel beyond the included 60 miles will be billed at: $0.75 per mile. Travel is calculated based on the total miles driven for styling-related services like a closet discovery, a closet audit, a shopping discovery or a personal shopping session.
It's also worth mentioning that for certain services, we can work together virtually. Style Analysis and Virtual Outfit Proposals are designed to work beautifully online. If you're outside the area, reach out and we can discuss options.
Will you work with me if I don’t live in Denver?
That depends entirely on you and your project. If you want everything to be second hand and natural fibers, your clothing cost is going to be different than if you decide to purchase Amazon items. I will take your clothing budget and style preferences into consideration when creating your outfit proposal to ensure the recommended items fall within your budget.
How much should I budget for clothing?
You're normal. A lot of people feel vulnerable looking at themselves, especially after years of criticism from the fashion industry, family members, social media, or even their own inner voice. We'll move through that experience together without judgment. We can always slow down. This process is supposed to feel empowering, not stressful. Meeting a stylist can feel vulnerable because clothing is personal. You don't need to show up confident. That's kind of the whole point. You just need to show up with an open mind.
