Style isn't earned. It's already yours.
You deserve to feel proud of who you are.
Styled to Filth is a safe, affirming, and judgment-free space for people who have never felt represented by traditional fashion. I strongly believe that style is for every body, every gender expression, and every stage of life. My goal is to help you discover what feels authentic to you so that you can build confidence through self-expression.
"If you want to look like the best, most beautiful, most authentic version of yourself for a photo shoot, wedding, event, or just every day life, you NEED Aja."
- Jennifer B.
Before your event, we'll do a final fitting (sometimes multiple fittings!) to make sure everything works, fits comfortably, and feels like you. We may need to source additional accessories, get items altered, or trade out pieces that don't work quite right. Once you love your look on your body, I'll steam and prepare it and you'll leave with everything you need to feel your best at your event.
We'll meet virtually to review your outfit options together. This is a collaborative process, so we'll talk through what you love, what you don't, and make any adjustments needed. The remaining balance is due at this stage before I send you a shoppable outfit proposal. We will then shop for your look together, attend any alterations or design appointments for custom looks together, and make sure you feel empowered and supported the entire time.
Once you're booked, we'll do a style analysis to make sure I understand the outfit vision for your event. Then, I'll start virtually building your look from top to bottom.
Fill out my contact form and schedule a free 15-minute consultation. We'll talk about your style goals, the event or occasion you're dressing for, and make sure we're a good fit to work together. Then, I'll send you a contract. Upon contract signing, 50% of the styling fee is due.
Did you know???
The styling process with me is less about a transformation and more about finally recognizing yourself when you look in the mirror, whether you're the one getting married, a guest in someone else's wedding, or gearing up for a different important occasion.
Together, we'll create looks that are authentic, comfortable, and completely yours. You'll wear something that works for your real body and the actual event you're attending, not some Pinterest board or the fashion industry's impossible standard.
Because I believe that style is all about feeling at home in your own skin for any and every occasion.

How do I know which services to inquire about?
Yes! I am based in Colorado but work with clients worldwide. The first 60 miles of travel (30 miles each direction from Arvada, CO) are included with your styling package. Additional travel beyond the included 60 miles will be billed at: $0.75 per mile. Travel is calculated based on the total miles driven for styling-related services like a closet discovery, a closet audit, a shopping discovery or a personal shopping session.
It's also worth mentioning that for certain services, we can work together virtually. Style Analysis and Virtual Outfit Proposals are designed to work beautifully online. If you're outside the area, reach out and we can discuss options.

That depends entirely on you and your project. If you want everything to be second hand and natural fibers, your clothing cost is going to be different than if you decide to purchase Amazon items. I will take your clothing budget and style preferences into consideration when creating your outfit proposal to ensure the recommended items fall within your budget.
How much should I budget for clothing?
You're normal. A lot of people feel vulnerable looking at themselves, especially after years of criticism from the fashion industry, family members, social media, or even their own inner voice. We'll move through that experience together without judgment. We can always slow down. This process is supposed to feel empowering, not stressful. Meeting a stylist can feel vulnerable because clothing is personal. You don't need to show up confident. That's kind of the whole point. You just need to show up with an open mind.
