You deserve to feel proud of who you are.
Styled to Filth is a safe, affirming, and judgment-free space for people who have never felt represented by traditional fashion. I strongly believe that style is for every body, every gender expression, and every stage of life. My goal is to help you discover what feels authentic to you so that you can build confidence through self-expression.
"If you want to look like the best, most beautiful, most authentic version of yourself for a photo shoot, wedding, event, or just every day life, you NEED Aja. I’m a wedding planner and business owner, and I’ve had the pleasure of working with Aja multiple times. She’s styled models for photo shoots; couples looking for unique, gender-affirming wedding attire; and she’s styled me for my brand photos. Every project was completely different, with wildly different aesthetics, and she nailed it every time. She’s a creative visionary with a unique gift for translating a person’s identity into affirming & empowering fashion. I can’t recommend her enough!"

After you've received your new wardrobe items, we'll do a final fitting to make sure everything works, fits comfortably, and feels like you. I'll show you how to integrate your new items into your current wardrobe, and help build the confidence for your to show up as your true self.
We'll meet virtually to review your outfit options together. This is a collaborative process, so we'll talk through what you love, what you don't, and make any adjustments needed. The remaining balance is due at this stage before I send you a shoppable outfit proposal.
After booking, we'll dive into the services selected in your proposal and get clear on your style, preferences, lifestyle, and wardrobe goals. Whether we're conducting a style analysis, exploring your existing closet, shopping with intention, or sourcing complete outfits, I'll handle the research, and outfit-building, curating pieces that align with your vision, body, lifestyle, and budget into a personalized outfit proposal.
Fill out my contact form and schedule a free 15-minute consultation. We'll talk about your style goals, the event or occasion you're dressing for, and make sure we're a good fit to work together. Then, I'll send you a contract. Upon contract signing, 50% of the styling fee is due.
Did you know???
The styling process with me is less about a makeover and more about finally recognizing yourself in the mirror.
A majority of my job with personal styling clients is removing the morality from clothing and reminding people that if something doesn't fit or doesn't work for us, that its not a negative reflection of us.
You're not just paying me for style advice, you're paying me to help re-wire your brain when it comes to the way you approach clothes, and more importantly, clothes on your body as it is today.

How do I know which services to inquire about?
Yes! I am based in Colorado but work with clients worldwide. The first 60 miles of travel (30 miles each direction from Arvada, CO) are included with your styling package. Additional travel beyond the included 60 miles will be billed at: $0.75 per mile. Travel is calculated based on the total miles driven for styling-related services like a closet discovery, a closet audit, a shopping discovery or a personal shopping session.
It's also worth mentioning that for certain services, we can work together virtually. Style Analysis and Virtual Outfit Proposals are designed to work beautifully online. If you're outside the area, reach out and we can discuss options.

That depends entirely on you and your project. If you want everything to be second hand and natural fibers, your clothing cost is going to be different than if you decide to purchase Amazon items. I will take your clothing budget and style preferences into consideration when creating your outfit proposal to ensure the recommended items fall within your budget.
How much should I budget for clothing?
You're normal. A lot of people feel vulnerable looking at themselves, especially after years of criticism from the fashion industry, family members, social media, or even their own inner voice. We'll move through that experience together without judgment. We can always slow down. This process is supposed to feel empowering, not stressful. Meeting a stylist can feel vulnerable because clothing is personal. You don't need to show up confident. That's kind of the whole point. You just need to show up with an open mind.
